One Year of War Against Ukraine: We Stand With Ukraine
A year ago Russia launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine. We condemn this war against a sovereign country and its people, as clearly today as on the first day.
For a year now, people in Ukraine have been losing their homes, their loved ones and their safety. Many have had to leave the country, and many have stayed and keep life going under extremely difficult conditions.
Many people around us come from Ukraine. Their families, friends and neighbours are still in danger. Our thoughts are with them and with all people in Ukraine.
We recall our statement of 24 February 2022. Our position has not changed: we condemn this war. We stand with Ukraine and with Ukrainians.
