Solar Installation: Contract for Work and Proofs Done Right

Demand for solar systems is high and skilled workers are scarce. If you subcontract installation, settle the contract and proofs cleanly.

Describe the service clearly

Describe the result: installation of a system per plan, acceptance, documentation. Handing over hours without a result points more to temporary agency work.

Proofs from the subcontractor

minimum wage: proof of wage payment (€13.90 since 2026) or a higher sector minimum;
social insurance: clearance certificate;
exemption certificate under §48b EStG, otherwise 15 percent withholding tax;
working time records within 7 days.

Safety on the roof

Work at height requires fall protection, briefing and suitable equipment. Document the briefing.

Liability

As client you are liable for the minimum wage (§13 MiLoG with §14 AEntG) and in construction for social contributions (§28e SGB IV). Check subcontractors regularly.

DLP24 provides officially employed workers with posting. Accommodation, workwear and transport are organised.
